Our ADHD assessments are conducted by Dr I Syed an experienced psychiatrist. Dr I Syed uses the ICD-10/ICD-11 diagnosis criteria when assessing children for ADHD and the following screening forms need to be completed by parent carers and education;
Conners Rating Scale (CRS-3), SNAP-IV (Swanson, Nolan, and Pelham Scale), Vanderbilt ADHD Diagnostic Rating Scale. After receiving the completed screening forms Dr I Syed will assess your child face-to-face in our clinic.
Dr I Syed conducts ADHD assessments for adults using the DIVA-5 (Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Adults). These assessments are typically conducted online however, a face-to-face assessment can be arranged if this is preferred. The following screening forms that need to be completed prior to the assessment are; an Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS) questionnaire, patient history form, including details of childhood and current symptoms, input from a family member, spouse, or close friend (if possible). After all assessments, Dr I Syed will compile a diagnosis report with final diagnosis & treatment planning.
